Werribee Nissan provides the Father Bob Maguire Foundation with a brand new vehicle just in time for Christmas
A few weeks ago, Father Bob put the call out to his 115.2K Twitter followers that his foundation, The Father Bob Maguire Foundation, were in need of a vehicle to help in the work they do in the community.
The Foundation, a Melbourne based charity, works closely in the community, providing social, emotional and educational support, as well as necessary resources, including food, to those who need it. They run HopeMobiles that provide nutritious meals, operate STEM bus classrooms that help to break down digital poverty amongst disadvantaged communities and have a community pantry, where struggling individuals, families and single parents can obtain healthy foods.
As they travel across the Melbourne region to provide these services, the Father Bob Maguire Foundation are often in need of transportation but lack the necessary funds. This is where the Nissan Dealership, Werribee Nissan decided to help out.
The Nissan dealership located in the South-West region of Melbourne provided The Father Bob Maguire Foundation with a brand new Nissan X-Trail ST 7 Seater to help them venture across the city doing their good work.
Father Bob Maguire commented, “It’s essential that our team are mobile. No time to wait. Our cliental deserve immediate assistance being disadvantaged from food poverty and social engagement. Our partnering with Werribee Nissan will not only help drive a better community but build one together.”
Chief Operations Officer and Director or Werribee Nissan, Kelly Van Blommestein, regarded that “Father Bob Maguire Foundation has an outreach program which does community meals, provides an education program, has advocacy service and social inclusion programs, all of which bring dignity, respect and possibility to people. We at Werribee Nissan are honoured to be a part of this organisation.”
Together Werribee Nissan and The Father Bob Foundation aim to drive positive change within the community of Melbourne and reach the people who need it most.
